Hi Martin,

text buttons are now nearly working, exept the Save & Close button.
When i open hwinfo it displayes with the same error like in older versions.
then, when i click the Configure button, the Save & Close button resizes allright.
But if i click now on the Save & Close button it jumps back to the wrong displayed state.
also when closing hwinfo and reopen again it displayes in the wrong state.

i attach a video, where you can see the error.
open the gif with internet explorer.

hope this helps

cheers

Shared Memory Function

I use aquasuite to display many of the values gathered by HWiNFO, and for the most part it works great.
There appears to be an error in that the 'units' under the system section, are not getting transferred to aquasuite, only the values make it.

I understand Shared Memory is a collaborative action between the two programs, and I was wondering if it could be determined where the mismatch is?

GPU clock information question

Hi all,

First of all hello to everyone this is my first post on this forum.

I've got a question (I've tried searching but maybe keywords I used were B$ Angel ) mainly how does the HWINFO64 GPU clocks are related to nVidia system information?

I'll elaborate:
So in my nVidia system information file my GPU clock is set to 1071 MHz, while HWINFO64 displays GPU: 135.0, Memory: 162.0, and Video: 405.0. Why is that so?
Could someone explain me how is this counted?

sensor setting page not show ing one of my drives

I am having a problem with HWINFO64. Added a SSD recently and moved that original drive to a 3Gb/s controller. My original drive shows up in the main page breakdown, but doesn't show up in the sensor setting page at all. I have attached screenshots of each page. I have tried both the current release and the beta. I don't remember the issue before v5, but I am not positive on that.

I am running Win7-64 on a I7 on a ASUS MB. The disc driver shows up as an Intel® 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller v11.0.0.1032

Any help would be appreciated!

Add VCCIN reporting for AW17 in Hinfo64

Hello Martin. A Question I have to you.
Is it possible to add VCCIN/vRING reporting/monitoring for laptops(Aw17) in HWinfo64? Now have Throttlestop come with a new beta 3 with VCCIN volt adjustment Big Grin .  Would have been nice with reporting/monitoring of several volts settings. Especially Input and Cache voltage. I know this may be difficult as there are many different laptop models with different motherboards. But Can you take a look at this? If it is possible then it is my hardware specification such as this...

Computer: Alienware 17R1 (2013/14 model) laptop
Motherboard: Alienware Model 05RW0M
Chipset: Intel HM87 (Intel Lynx Point HM87)
Intel Core: i7-4930mx@4.3ghz
Graphics:: Nvidia gtx780m Oc
Samsung 850 Pro 512GB SSD connected to SATA 3 (ACHI MODE)
Windows 7 Ult x64bit

Reading current temps with a script?

Hello,

Does anyone know how to read in just the current values of temps from hwinfo and use them as a variable in a powershell script?
(note: i could just use the log values, but i really don't want to have a huge log piling up when I only need the current value every few seconds)

Thanks

Hi there,

since version 5.02 i get very strange values if i log my games and open it wiith generic log viewer. HWiNFO itself shows everything correct as usual. I tried the viewer version 3.01 from another thread here with the same result. I uploaded some screenshots from the viewer and a log file too.
I love this software and hope there is a simple answer. Is there a link to older versions, i unfortunately deleted all my older versions.

AMD Fury X GPU\FAN speed

Tried the 5.05 beta also, GPU and Fan speeds seems to be reported way off:
should be
1050Mhz(300Mhz in idle) for GPU and 1000rpm for Fan
but are:
283Mhz(81Mhz in idle) for GPU clock and 236RPM for GPU Fan.

Temps seem to be normal. Report and debug are made with 5.04 though...

Thanks for the great tool.

Some help with GPU needed

I can't get my GPU readings detected.  I'm using the latest version of HWINFO.  I've read this post and played around but no joy http://www.hwinfo.com/forum/Thread-Rainm...77#pid6877

Although I only have one GPU, HWINFO detects two sensors.  One is Nvidia GTX 780 and the other is Nvidia GTX 780 CHL CHL8266.  What's the significance of this and which should I be looking to get passed to the skin?

This might help me narrow down the issues a bit.

HWiNFO64 and Auto Start with RTSS

Dear Martin

Long time no see, how are you? Smile

HWiNFO64 has got OSD (RTSS), so to use framerate to show in OSD, I need to launch RTSS before HWiNFO64. In other way there is no way to see framerate in OSD. So I have RTSS, which starts with Windows and also HWiNFO64 with Auto Start option checked. The problem is, the HWiNFO64 is starting first and after that RTSS launch. In this case HWiNFO64 doesn't see framerate, when I launch any game.

Is there any chance to set HWiNFO64 to be delayed with Auto Start option, so RTSS will Auto Start first? Or maybe a new feature in HWiNFO64, which will auto refresh and see RTSS with framerate?

Any idea how to resolve this problem?

I would be glad for your help and support.

Thank you in advance also always.

Sincerely

Dear Martin

Which sensor is responsible for GPU (GTX 970 4GB) memory usage in MB?

- Memory allocated
- D3D memory dedicated
- D3D memory dynamic

Thank you for your help and support.

Hello, someone has given me their laptop, running Vista, to fix, and  am currently testing various aspects of it to see if  I can determine what the cause of its misbehaviour is, enter HWinfo32. I notice in the sensor window there is a red YES under all the columns for Disk Failure. Does this mean the disk IS failing or does the YES mean there is a sensor present which detects when it is failing? I suspect it is the former, but thought it best to check here. Thank you Shy

HWiNFO Crashing

$

I just did a complete rebuild of my system, and now HWiNFO isn't working.

My System:
Windows 10 - New Install
Asus Z97 Extreme6
i7-4960k
Samsung SM951 (Boot Drive)
Western Digital Green 2tb (2nd drive)
Video - Onboard VGA
HWInfO Version: 5.04.2630, then 5.06.2640 (Both versions behave the same)

I was using HWiNFO successfully on this machine (although I had only opened it once during the initial install) before I rebuilt.  Now, I was able to install, but when I run it I get the following:

While loading and gathering specs, HWiNFO stops responding at, "Detecting IDE\SCSI...", then 1-3 minutes later the computer stops responding and I have to do a manual restart (power button).

I tried disabling the Storage check and then it locks up at "Analyzing PCI BUS..."

I can't find anything in the systems event viewer that links to HWiNFO that might help identify the problem.

I also can't find a way to enable logging to see if I can produce a log to help identify the problem

Any help would be appreciated
