Spiking BCLK

Hi hwinfo, first of all i have to say thanks for the great software u provide us. Just want to ask an question, i have a ryzen 2700x system, and in hwinfo monitoring, the bclk apparently spikes and have maximum value about 101.8, sometimes its more or less, approximately. It of course affects the cpu clockspeed and ram speed shown to have increased max value. I have no bsod/freeze or whatsoever, but i wonder if there is something wrong about my motherboard or its just a mere bug. Specs are below:
Ryzen 7 2700x
Asrock x470 Gaming k4
32gb DDR4-3000
Palit GTX 1060 6gb SJS
Corsair CX750M
500gb Samsung 850 evo M.2
2tb HDD
Thanks, your regards

What is PCIX16 "In Use" status

Hi,
My GPU died last week. After that, I still saw the PCIEX16 showed up (as picture below) even my dead GPU was removed (this PC use mobo Dell 088DT1).

I have double checked with my other PC (mobo Asrock Z77-Pro4) which hasn't got GPU plugged in, I don't see any PCIEX16 show up.

So, is it an error or is my mobo PCIEX16 slot also death together with my GPU?

Currently, I haven't got a new GPU to give a try. Or I am just afraid of that a dead slot will kill my new GPU.

[SOLVED] HWiNFO64 crashes when choosing sensors screen

Hi Martin, thanks for very handy piece of software!

Weird thing, never had any problems with HWiNFO64 before.  Today, I realized HWiNFO was not in tray as it usually sits there for me.  And whenever I spin the sensors screen it just crashes.

I tried to reinstall, and it worked for one time. Sensors showed up.  But then gone again.

Didn't do any major hardware and software upgrades, frankly speaking nothing literary changed.

Attaching debug file.

Howdy.

I searched, but i was only about to find a topic about this issue, but the monitor was disabled. I'm not showing anything under it.
but temp 4-6 are showing, which comes off that same fan extension control card.

I've also looked thru the sensors to try to find anything that was not enabled. But they all are.

RAM Temperatures disappeared.

Hi.

Since a few versions of the program, I have noticed that I no longer see the temperatures of my RAM modules. Before, I could see them, but not anymore. I've been waiting to see if it was something that was solved with some update, but I still do not see them.

Attachment file debug. I have not made changes in my BIOS, nor have I changed any piece of hardware since I could see the temperatures.

My motherboard is a MIS Z170A Gaming M7 and my RAM modules are GSKILL DDR4 3200 CL-14.

Thank you very much and congratulations for this great app.

Hello ,
My name is Zekeriya. I will ask questions for your program is " HWiNFO64 ".
I want to get GPU power usage instantly and voltage value. Do you have it on your schedule?
Can you throw away the method or source code that you used? How would you help me get there?

Where is Temperature 4

Hallo, I wanted to ask where is the sensor showing temperature 4, is this the cpu power section? My cpu is i5 6500T and is currently overclocked by bclk (non official OC non k cpu) from 2.5Ghz to 4.00 GHz for over a year. For over a year it was ok but now I saw this temperature 4 and I am worried because it is very hot summer.

HWINFO crashes and reboots my PC when idle (0x0000001e - KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLE)

Hello  - My monitor sleep time is set to 15 minutes and PC sleep time is set to 1 hour. When I leave my PC in Idle state, my monitor goes to sleep as usual at 15 minutes and at approximately 20 minutes my PC reboots by itself, As soon as it reboots I can see that windows has created a DUMP file and when I run the dump file through analyzer it points directly to HWiNFO64.EXE as the cause for the crash causing windows to reboot itself . So I uninstalled HWINFO completely and then the issue is resolved and my PC no longer reboots by itself when in idle . I install HWinfo again and My PC reboots again when in idle. Attached the Windows Dump analyzer output and HWINFO debug and report files .

Please check and let me know what could be causing the issue .

HWInfo showing wrong voltages?

Hello, I am currently using a Gigabyte B360M D3H with a i5-8400. When I loaded up hardwareinfo, it showed 2.0V on the 3.3V rail and 3.5V on the 5V rail. It did not show the 12V rail as well. When I opened up my bios it said, it was running 3.4V on the 3.3V, 5.12V on the 5V and 12.31V on the 12V. I currently have a Seasonic G550. Is this a bug? I can't seem to get the rail measurements on HWMonitor either.

HWiNFO64 Hanging

Hey so I dunno what the hell happened but today all of a sudden HWiNFO64 is hanging when trying to detect ATA/SCSI Drives, the problem started when I rebooted windows and HWiNFO loaded just fine except that it wouldn't load the Drive Temps for all of my drives. It seemed to load the usage and activity for those drives just fine but when I closed out of the program and tried to reload it it just started hanging on the detection of the drives. I have tried uninstalling the program and making sure all residual files were removed and restarting my computer and reinstalling again to see if there was any change and none... it still is hanging.

Getting Started Confusion

I have a Windows 10 system with HWiNFO, Rainmeter, and the HWiNfo plugin for Rainmeter installed.

I read through this page:
Rainmeter plug-in for HWiNFO 3.2
https://www.hwinfo.com/forum/Thread-Rain...HWiNFO-3-2

Which pointed me to this page about making measures:
Rainmeter plug-in for HWiNFO 2.0
https://www.hwinfo.com/forum/Thread-Rain...HWiNFO-2-0

No where does it say what file do I edit. Do I edit Rainmeter.ini in my '..\AppData\Roaming\Rainmeter' folder?

Or do I need to create a 'hwinfo default' folder in the '..\AppData\Roaming\Rainmeter\Layouts' folder and create a Rainmeter.ini file there?

Or do I need to make an hwinfo.ini file in an hwinfo folder in the application folder under '..\Defaults\Skins'?

I even found this thread:
Working with the HWiNFO plugin
https://forum.rainmeter.net/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=21939

And looked up the manual:
Rainmeter - Measures
https://docs.rainmeter.net/manual/measures/

I can't find anywhere what file I'm supposed to be editing when making measures or what file I need to edit in order to customize the HWiNFO skin.

Thanks!

HWiNFO stops PSU fan

$

The issue is that when I open HWiNFO sensors, PSU fan (RM750i) is stopped to 0 RPM. I can disable CorsairLink support in settings to prevent that from happening, but that would prevent from being able to monitor PSU power usage when gaming through OSD.
Corsair Link is not installed, I use SIV64 (http://rh-software.com/) to enable fixed fan speed, the issue persists even if SIV64 is not running, the only way for the fan to work is to start SIV64 after HWiNFO has been started. I realize there are issues with the protocol used to communicate with the PSU, but the thing is, I've tried two other monitoring software, AIDA64 and HWmonitor, which are capable of monitoring corsair PSU, and these have no issues, when you open their sensors, the fan is still running. So I think if AIDA64 and HWmonitor can get PSU stats without stopping the fan, then there is something HWiNFO does that makes the fan to stop.
When fan is stopped by HWiNFO, SIV64 shows PSU fan control mode to "PSU Default", so what seems to be happening is that when HWiNFO is reading PSU stats, fan control settings previously saved are erased and fan control reverts to stock Default settings, which involves semifanless operation (0 RPM) when you are below certain load and temperature.
