Hello,

half of the time I try to start sensors on latest version of HWiNFO64 (5.51-3135, but I tried several previous versions too with same results) the computer get completely frozen and I have to do hard reboot. I have no problems with rig so far, only this. I'm attaching DBG file.

Specs:
Ryzen 1700
Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3, running F6 BIOS
MSI RX 480 Gaming X 4GB
16GB LPX Vengeance 3200 @2933
Running latest version(creators update) of Win10 64bit Pro.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Asus 970 Pro Gaming/Aura Mislabeled & Missing Sensors

First, I still LOVE HWiNFO and use it every single day! Second, there are some mislabeled sensors (voltages especially) and missing fan RPM's. I currently have CPU_Fan, CPU_OPT, and W_PUMP headers connected but only CPU_FAN/Chassis is displayed.

I've only had this motherboard for a few hours so there may be some other weird things going on that I haven't noticed yet (too tired to continue hunting today). Link to some other users having the same issue: http://www.overclock.net/t/1617650/asus-...t_25717759

Lastly, here's a pic showing mislabeled voltages. Requested DBG and Report files linked below.

Thunderbolt chipsets not seen correctly !

Hi,

Thanks for this great program, I use it all the time and find it to be very good at giving me details of the PC's / Laptops that I use.

OK, now onto the small bug .... The Thunderbolt IC's are not correct from what I can tell, please see the enclosed pictures to see what is wrong.

.jpg   Capture1.JPG (Size: 133.19 KB / Downloads: 5)

.jpg   Capture2.JPG (Size: 137.55 KB / Downloads: 4)

As you can see, two different programs report the PCI Devices differently.
These screenshots are taken from an Asus G752VL laptop that has the Intel DSL6340 Thunderbolt IC / controller.

If this is a bug, can you please fix it in the next update ?

Thanks,

CladMaster.

HWINFO64 Win10 not showing correct memory clock speed for AMD R9 290x GPU

Ever since AMD introduced Wattman and their new crimson drivers, HWINFO64 does not show the correct memory clock speed when the card is overclocked. It always shows my default clock speed of 1250Mhz no matter what clock speed i've set in wattman.

Since their new overclocking utility was introduced called AMD Wattman, other OC programs have stopped being able to set clock speeds such as trixx and Msi afterburner which is a separate issue, but it has coincided with HWINFO64 not showing correct clock speeds. Before the crimson drivers and the advent of wattman I used Sapphire Trixx for OCing and HWINFO64 always showed the correct memory clock speed. Wattman and GPU-Z show the correct clock speeds. I OC my memory from 1250Mhz to 1350Mhz. This issue seems to be related directly to HWINFO64 since other utilities will show correct clock speeds.

HWINFO64 reports the correct core clock speed and all other values look good as well.

I hope this can be fixed, it really BUGS me!

Feature suggestion: Post measurements to graphite/influxdb

Hi There,

A useful feature that might solve some of the "I'm building a web service to show stats" or "I'm building an android app to show stats" would be to add an option to push data to an external time series database, such as graphite or influxdb. From there, people can use their own visualisation tools to display the data - either cloud-based, or local. This might also help with some of the difficulties people have had with the remote server third party extensions that are abandoned.

The insertion of data to the services is quite straightforward - either via HTTP for influxdb - https://docs.influxdata.com/influxdb/v1....ting_data/ or just feeding it straight at the socket for graphite - http://graphite.readthedocs.io/en/latest...arbon.html

Presently I'm polling MSI Afterburner's remote server via collectd, inserting into influxdb and displaying via grafana - http://i.imgur.com/2ZyNhdn.png but it's intelegant, and MSI Afterburner doesn't have the same quality of sensors as HWInfo.

Cheers,
yumcimil

No Fans listed on home server

Hello, I have a WD Sentinel DS5100 (upgraded to specs of DS6100) home server running Windows Server 2012 r2 Essentials and have been trying to find what the two fan speeds are currently running at. Having installed many programs, none of which display the installed fans, I was hoping there was some setting I hadn't checked; or some other way to get information.  Control would be wonderful but I'd at least like to be able to see the speed the fans are running at.

Let me know if this is simply not possible or if you require any other information.  I have tried to attach the dbg and log file but cannot get the files to attach. Thanks!

Virtual memory and Ram help

Hello guys,
I use HWinfo for monitoring the temps on an old laptop that I'm using at the moment.
It's Acer Aspire 7520G with the dreadful Turion 64x2 processor and even more terrifying Nvidia GeForce 8400M G (250mb)
It has 4gb of ram and runs on Windows 10. However I'm not sure if I can (can't) adjust page file and RAM usage to get better performance out of it.
Here's a screenshot of the current reading. I'm using just for internet browsing and even for such a simple task it's a bit sluggish and I rarely open more than 3 tabs in Chrome.

Is there any way to customize the title bar?

It may sound weird, but I would like to remove the values hidden count from the title bar on Sensor Status window to keep it minimal. Removing version info or completely personalize the title bar would be nice too. It's possible?

number alignment in OSD for system data not correct

The number alignment in OSD for data from the [System] section seems to be somewhat broken

I have enabled 'Align number (right padding)' for all values in the first column (and only them).
Yet, no matter which row i put the physical memory load in, it won't align properly (same for virtual memory load).
Example screenshot is attached.

Currently on version 5.51-3141 64bit
Using Windows 10 Pro Version 1703, Build 15063.250

Feature request: Information on USB hubs (esp. Vendor ID)

Hello everyone!

I would like HWinfo to provide information on USB hubs, especially resolving the vendor ID that tells me the manufacturer of the chipset. HWinfo, Aida and Device-Manager show more (Aida/DM) or less (HWinfo) information, but only the somewhat outdated software ASTRA32 resolved the Vendor ID conveniently.

There is a list of vendor IDs maintained here: http://www.linux-usb.org/usb.ids

Thanks and regards!

Missing temperature indicator of PCH. He was never there. And this morning he appeared once(He showed 39 degrees.) and after that he disappeared again(AIDA64 show this indicator always). What can be the problem and how can this be solved?

RX 580 support?

$

So I recently been reviewing and testing various RX 480 & RX 580 models, I've noticed that while Overclocking and stress testing all the RX 480 would report Gpu memory errors when hitting your max overclock. Now with my 1st RX 580 testing the XFX RX-580 GTS Black Edition (RX-580P8DBD6) (1425OC+/1405TrueCore) I noticed I was able to hit 2600MHz on the memory while benchmarking and HWinfo64 never reported any gpu memory errors. I say this because I did notice some visual graphical memory errors while in some test and in games, but no report from within HWinfo. Could it be a sensor not present or HWinfo 5.5 just not fully compatible with RX 580 (Polaris20 XTX) yet?  Huh

HWInfo64 Crashes System

NIve seen a few posts, but I am not really sure if my issue is similar or not. Every single time I run HWInfo it gets to the IDE scanning part and causes my computer to freeze up and crash. It forces me to have to hard reboot my PC.

Any ideas?

Crash system scan SATA Asmedia ports (BSOD)

$

Hello Smile

HWiNFO64 crash my windows 7 64 bits system (BSOD) or disconnect my HDD's connect to my Asmedia SATA3 ports.

I have disabled the scan of the SATA ports (HDD) to be able to use the program in the menu "safety".

Is it possible to fix the problem with a patch ? Asmedia SATA ports are problematic. Intel SATA ports work well with the program.

For now I do not have access to HDD status.

Have a nive day !
